Manage Your Sponsorship
Update your payment details, change your tier, view past invoices, or cancel your sponsorship.
Where to manage your sponsorship
Section titled “Where to manage your sponsorship”Where you manage your sponsorship depends on the tier you signed up under. If you are not sure which applies, the email receipts you received at sign-up indicate whether your sponsorship was processed by GitHub or Stripe.
Individual Tier
GitHub Sponsors
Section titled “GitHub Sponsors”If you signed up for the Individual tier, your sponsorship is billed through GitHub Sponsors.
From the GitHub Sponsors page you can:
- Update your payment method
- View past sponsorship payments
- Change or cancel your sponsorship
Corporate Tiers
Stripe Billing Portal
Section titled “Stripe Billing Portal”If you signed up for the Supporter, Ambassador, or Partner tier, your sponsorship is billed through Stripe.
From the Stripe billing portal you can:
- Update your payment method and billing details
- Download past invoices
- Change or cancel your sponsorship
